Thrilled with the work carried out on our carpets
This morning we had our living room carpet, stairs and large rug cleaned by D and S and we are thrilled with the result, its was all done in about an hour and the result now that it has fully dried is fantastic. It is like we have had a new carpet fitted. The large wool rug cost us nearly £1,000 and is in our hallway on a wooden floor so it does get some traffic and the colours are again lovely and bright just like the day we purchased it.
I can not recommend David enough. what a lovely chap. Thank you.

Three-piece suite, five star service!
David came to our home and cleaned our old three-piece fabric sofa, it had a lot of old stains and marks but by the time he was done, it looked like a new suite. It was David’s fun and happy personality that stood out, really recommend him for anyone in need of a sofa cleaning!

I recently found I had a problem with one of my settees. I noticed it had become discoloured on two seat cushions. I thought it was dirty and tried to clean it off with an upholstery cleaner but it failed to budge.
I got in touch with Arther Llewellyn Jenkins the firm I bought it from 18 months ago and they sent a man out to look at the problem. As soon as he saw it, he said it was “dye transfer”. Dye had come out of clothes and marked the settee. He explained that dye from dark or black clothes gets transferred onto light coloured furniture (my suite is a vanilla coloured material). The firm recommended I get in touch with D & S Carpets. I can’t praise this cleaning firm enough, they came the day after my call and removed all traces of the dye. My settee looks as good as new again.

Amazing work
I rang David on the Wednesday regarding a rather messy smashed bottle of nail varnish which splashed all over the back, sides and arms of my 2 seater, black leather La-Z-Boy. It had dried over a period of weeks as I wasn’t sure how to remove it. David arranged to arrive at 16:00 and was very prompt. The nail varnish had hardened and was over quite a large area. Well with 2 1/2 hours work and determination you cannot tell that there ever was nail varnish on my La-Z-Boy. Amazing work and reasonably priced too. I would recommend David as his work is brilliant and also he is very amiable as a person.

Just wanted to say thank you for your visit yesterday and the transformation in my carpet. As usual you were prompt and the job was undertaken with professionalism and speed. You performed a miracle a couple of years ago after a pre Wedding bridesmaid preparation session left blusher and lipstick on what was then a brand new carpet, so I simply wouldn’t trust my carpet to anyone else! I would highly recommend you to anyone who needs either a clean as I did yesterday, or a more complicated stain removal. Thank you again!

Today David cleaned and conditioned my rather neglected leather corner unit. With lots of animals it was very grimy and a bit scratched, but now it’s looking fabulous. Worth every penny spent. David was also able to advise me how best to care for the furniture in the future. Excellent.
Bedroom carpet
Definately a 5 star service!!! I had a little accident this morning which involved me spilling a bottle of red nail varnish over my cream bedroom carpet! My husband rang Dave and he promptly arrived with his machine and detergents and in no time at all, he had eliminated all trace of the nail varnish from my carpet!. I can thoroughly recommend Dave. He was efficient, professional and a friendly man. We shall certainly be using his service in the future!

Had our living room and hallway carpet cleaned a few weeks ago by D&S Carpets.Also had our sofa, chair and footstool cleaned.From the moment our quotation was dealt with, David and Sue have been very helpful,professional and friendly.I was left astonished (and a little embarrassed lol) by the difference. It is outstanding!Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of having carpets and upholstery cleaned.I think when you live in in day in and day out,you become blind to how much a professional clean is needed!Davideo has been back this morning to clean the bedroom carpets and mattress.
